Who were your ancestors 5,000 years ago?

Have you ever wondered who was you before you were you?
Do you ever wonder if there was someone who looked like you, had an almost identical attitude as you but was a part of the Sumerian culture?
How do you think you would fit into ancient Rome or even better, with the Etruscans if you were to go back in time?
The point I am trying my best to get to is that our world IS in fact a melting pot and that there is a good chance back then people were more likely part of societies that were more or less an “extended family” in contrast to nations in turmoil as we can see it today.

Neanderthals were always in smaller groups. And it seems to this day there is a threshold to ensure the level of comfort is not being compromised.

One thing being promoted by news media is that our current system is the best and that quality of life has never been better. And in a sense I do agree that the world today is the world we deserve in terms of it being a result of the accomplishments and failures of all our ancestors. Imagine how many mistakes those who came before you must have made. And our mere existence probably being their biggest success stories. And this line of successes leads to us.

I have always believed in diversity being good. But I do not believe in diversity being good when the needs of a minority are overshadowed by volume.

Descendants from once powerful tribes integrated into larger societies no longer significant in the eyes of society due to them being different and not enough others being “equally different” has often been one of the many factors that those not comfortable with the place where they live have thrown themselves into an interest of knowing who their ancestors were and imagining a world of those who are more like them than “THEM”.

The same way that an adopted child would feel the need to connect with the birth parents.
