I have noticed that whenever I go through stages of insomnia, when I sleep, I dream a lot more. Not only do I dream a lot more, but my dreams appear to be piles of events often unrelated connecting to memories unrelated.
These memories come from various stages of my life often decades apart.
Have you experienced such stages?
How “messy” do your dreams get?
Do they get messier as the years go by?
When i went to work, I would sleep for four hours. Now I’m retired, I’m sleeping for six hours.
I’m finding now, before I wake up I sometimes have a ‘heavy’ dream. I’m actually finding it harder to get out of bed now. When I went to work, I found it easy to get out of bed after four hours sleep. Quite often the dream is about work, although I retired just two years ago.
I have precognitive dreams.
I dreamt for 6 months an I was in an accident. Every detail came true. Exactly how it happened, and the injury to my teeth- the witnesses to the accident related the crash exactly as I dreamt it.
I dreamt my dead Aunt gave me a check for 20 thousand dollars. I told my lawyer the next day to document my dream- I received 20 thousand dollars in a check from my Aunts estate 3 months later. I had been written out of her will years before. I dream about the future all the time.
Good and bad –
For years it freaked me out
I’m b negative…can never remember my dreams, insomniac, REM is hard for insomniacs to achieve memory on a consistent basis. My dreams are more as they say day dreams. If and when this happens, it’s important..When I had a “feeling” I got like a dream, an image, it came to be a reality…I put my head up to forehead of my sister’s car who was dying…I saw like a dream, he fell in yellow fish net, became blind…I told my sister, she stated I never ever told anyone…your nuts your telling me my cat talks to you? I said no cats don’t talk…she said I never told a soul…tell me how you knew th at….I t s as I’d a dream I guess ..no dreams for me..
