Common sense tells me there are, as our distant ancestors spent time fasting involuntarily…
But let’s see:
Eating for 12 hours and then fasting for 12 hours is likely safe for most people, Longo explains. “That pattern of eating is very common among people who have record lifespans,” he says. “It seems to match both science and tradition.”

l’ve come to also call it intuitive eating and l do think it fits my natural eating patterns.
l may easily fast one day after having had a day prior where l ate a lot and just have a natural kind of appetite balancing effect.
l can’t speak for other RH negative women and maybe it would be a (separate) although interesting topic, l did struggle with disordered eating from around age 11 to late 20s.
Now, l would attribute it to partially feeling different and not knowing why and maybe also just a predisposition for whatever reason.
l am thankfully now able to feel like those days are a distant memory but l think biologically, l’m still prone to fasting.
