Let’s focus on what we know.
Let’s not focus on what is commonly agreed upon.
Not as much as I have hoped for.
Here is one thing that stands out a little bit:
The NT and NF combinations.
NT:
Females: 7%
Males: 18%
NF:
Females: 17.5%
Males: 10.5%

I did the Briggs test in 1989 and I was an INTP so I thought I would see if I had changed and did the test from your site and I am still INTP so I guess you do not really change as you age even if you think you have.
i’d like to have an idea of what MBTI types the people who post here think/feel/believe they most likely are. the link in your post apparently provides a free test Mike. i’ve posted on sites based on MBTI theory off & on for about 14 yrs now. all one needs to do is just make a search for “free MBTI test” and lots of links should be available. from my experience: many of the people that post on MBTI related sites are introverted intuitives. extroverts are less commonly involved in internet things like this & your site normally. regardless, i’m curious about who comes here. this site being unique likely means that there could be more extroverts involved. – truth-seeker Ken –
I believe that I go through stages which is reflected by the ENTP/INTP results I have been getting.
I often wonder would my results be different had I grown up differently.
Early in life, I abandoned the perception side as well as the feeling side of mine as I have experienced how easily both can be manipulated and how unreliable they both can be.
The N part is the one I believe you are or are not born with, though the only 2 negatives I have ever known to be S more or less let me know that they once abandoned the intuitive side as “it had gotten me into trouble”.
i like the concept of “balance” a lot. in this case, regarding MBTI (the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) – it’s often healthy/healthier to develop & use one’s the less often used parts of this system. for me being an INTJ type of person: doing some extroverted things – like posting here is helpful…learning and doing sensor type things is very healthy & balancing for me, as it gets me out of my head and into doing physical things – like the rebuilding & learning how to use of my grandfather’s chainsaw…for INTJ’s: their feeling side is often well protected, as it is w/ me – but once again, tapping into & using this part of what i am when it’s needed is very beneficial & enjoyable…and finally regarding judging/perceiving: i really don’t like to judge until i’m rather sure/certain about something/someone. my intuition can fill the gaps between what i know and what seems apparent/makes sense or what is only shown/admitted to, but i’d rather not express these insights until i think/feel my confidence level regarding the specific thing, insight, idea or whatever is significant enough or worthy of mentioning & integrating into my conception of things. i’ve always been a truth seeker, interested in learning and desiring to understand how all works & are connected. the necessities of living and what occurred during my younger growing-up days made being myself quite difficult & challenging. having spent nearly 4 decades getting back to my true-self (as much as possible & needed) & figuring-out how this world and human societies actually work (as well as i’m able) + getting closer to the truth about things & myself seems to have been exactly what i needed to do. not being myself and not trying to make some sense of all the seemingly contradictory things occurring around & external to me was just not working.
So I the test says I’m ISTP, but it was difficult to decide on a couple if them. Never, not once have I been referred to as an extrovert, so that part isn’t a surprise. I wish I could be though. A couple of years ago, life threw me an asteroid sized curve ball, and now my life involves speaking to people quite a bit. It is hard and doesn’t seem to be getting any easier. But I still have a super power that allows me to detect someone that doesn’t have good intentions.
Do you think before the curveball, you may have tested differently?
I think I could have been ISFJ. It’s weird because I asked myself which one is more me, if external factors weren’t an influence. But the changing scores is precisely what tells me the answer..
I’m interested in finding data regarding offspring based on personality markers. Which women and men tend to have the most children and how have those frequencies changed over the generations. That might give us some answers where we’re headed.
Even though I am utterly disgusted with what Facebook has done to one of my pages, I have added a Myers-Briggs poll in the group I am running. I will see what types of results are going to stand out. I am only doing one for all members, not separated by male/female or blood groups (all members are Rh negative though), but I am planning to look for the details as I usually obsessively do.
ISTP huh Lesley…that’s interesting and not common for women (2%). my brother’s oldest son is an ISTP. he’s a great mechanic, very smart and very private. i have a good relationship w/ him. we respect each other. he been very interested in the antique sewing machines i’ve restored from ~ 2013 until now. a friend of mine & my brother’s (an O negative never married/no children guy i’ve mentioned here a few times, who died in 2015) i believe was an ISTP. he was very smart and funny, loved to work w/ his hands, became the best (incredibly complex) electric guitar player i’ve ever met/known and was also a very private person. he had lots of friends, especially when compared w/ me. i tend not to get very close w/ my male friends. female friends are the ones i really seek. usually i’m willing to get close w/ them if that’s desired, what happens/develops and so on.
if ISTP seems to describe you best, then you really are different and more interesting to me than the 2 ISTPs i just mentioned obviously…since i don’t think i’ve met an ISTP that likes to read or has read the kind of studies you’ve linked to and typed about here. whatever…you’re an a very interesting woman and i hope you stay that way. we should try to become friends i think. that may work-out well. who knows? i gave Mike a donation earlier today even before i had seen your post. best wishes – i hope things are going well & you’re not bored.
Aww thank you! That is so sweet. The way you describe your nephew sounds like me. I am very private and recently i’ve also became interested in old machinery. I’m curious about his curiosity with the sewing machines…Im into old phonographs at the moment. Im sorry about your friend. He sounds great. If my life had gone differently, I think I could have done well in mechanics. Now that I see life more clearly and started being myself, I find that I’m mechanically inclined. Im not good at it yet but im trying to learn. I just don’t have much spare time. I would love to be friends with you. I’ve never had a rh- friend but always thought about how awesome that would be. You seem very smart and I want to ask you a thousand questions…Just kidding. Only 500.
Lesley: i think being friends would be nice. just create a message here w/ an email address you want me to use – maybe post here first letting Mike know you will be creating a post that should not become public, but rather it should be deleted after i’ve seen and copied the email. after i’ve done this, i’ll comment here and try the email address. at that point also, Mike should put that post in the trash and delete it. i should be able to see and confirm this from the inside – i’m still able/Mike still allows me to see these things.
Ken, belated thank you for your donation. Much appreciated. Lesley, Ken, I will be more than happy to send both of you an email now as I see both of yours (if that’s alright with you).
that sounds good to me Mike. – thanks –
“This chart is graphically horrendous. But all in all it’s pretty straightforward I guess? Men are better at being in charge. Women are better at being second in command, as God intended she is a “helper comparable to him.” Comparable being the more interesting word. Each have their strengths and weaknesses. A man could never handle prengnancy and round the clock child rearing, please show me one that could without going insane. It’s a blessing but also can be agonizing to devote your entire being into another. Doing this leaves you vulnerable, hence the need for some oversight. I’m interested in the “defender” percentage, but when I think about nature it does make sense. Think about a mother bear. Any female worth her salt will sacrifice anything for her young and that includes her mate, and I can see that in animals like chickens and cats. Those males could care less about their young and in fact see them as an annoying threat to their food source. Humans have something special beyond that animal base thinking. So I guess if any males out there will fight for their young instead of flee then they’re more human than beast. Clearly men are better with strategy, examining and persuasion because they have the time to devote to it with the help of a comparable helper willing to do all the tedious annoying things no one wants to do. It’s a tough job that receives little credit, it’s not mighty and there’s no grandeur. Funny side note on Jung I was googling and noticed a question “how do I talk to my shadow self?” An answer being, “Meditate with a focus on self-compassion and acceptance of your own humanness.” If I focused on self compassion and acceptance of being human, I would never aspire to do better and achieve any goals, just to constantly accept things the way they are without questioning or making a difference, such ultimate mediocrity, life would be so bland without changes, “trouble” (depending on how you look at it), mistakes and learning anything! Trouble is sometimes the only way to learn something, and just because things don’t end up the way you planned, doesn’t make it necessarily bad. I guess learning is psychiatric chaos. And if anyone really feels the need to talk to their shadow self, try talking to God, you may get better results 😉

I will add more information and links to the post.
the data claims women are more often intuitive feelers and men are more often intuitive thinkers. this makes sense and corresponds w/ my experience.
Exactly. It is amazing how whatever is keeps showing itself.
intersting for followers of Myers Brigs … i thought this was going to be a post on neurotypes which would probably show more intersting results . The ” wiring ” of the brain will differ in male and female , and that would be relevant to personality traits , but is intuition a personality trait ??
Link me to the better solution.
An intuitive person is one who perceives directly by intuition without rational thought, resulting from, or involving intuition, by way of the use of the sixth sense of a person … i think yes its part of personality … and extrovert intutive you view things outwardly introvert intutive you view from within . so there are different types of intuition .
an observant intuitive person for examople is the antonym of the above , that is one who perceives by observing while exercising and making use of the five senses … sorry just thinking as i write
Being extrovert or introvert has nothing to do with the predisposition to tune in. It also isn’t about perception. As I have pointed out, there are people born with intuition who fight their intuition and have “grown” to live a life of “logic” they have chosen as a comfort zone instead.
an example intuition imo: Nikola Tesla’s vision/conception of the AC motor…how it occurred. it’s still used today to generate electricity. it’s one of the most important inventions of all-time::
“” The first induction motor was invented by the famed Nikola Tesla in 1887 at his workshop on 89 Liberty Street, New York. This gifted inventor is said to have had a vision of his A-C motor one sunny day in Budapest, 1882, while reciting stanzas from Goethe’s Faust.
“At that age, I knew entire books by heart, word for word. One of these was Goethe’s ‘Faust’. The sun was just setting and reminded me of the glorious passage, ‘Sie ruckt und weicht, der Tag ist uberlebt, Dort eilt sie hin und fordert neues Leben. Oh, da kein Flugel mich vom Boden hebt Ihr nach und immer nach zu streben! Ein schöner Traum indessen sie entweicht, Ach, au des Geistes Flügeln wird so leicht Kein körperlicher Flügel sich gesellen!’ As I uttered these inspiring words the idea came like a flash of lightening and in an instant the truth was revealed. I drew with a stick on the sand, the diagram shown six years later in my address before the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, and my companion understood them perfectly.
The images I saw were wonderfully sharp and clear and had the solidity of metal and stone, so much so that I told him, ‘See my motor here; watch me reverse it.’ I cannot begin to describe my emotions. Pygmalion seeing his statue come to life could not have been more deeply moved. A thousand secrets of nature which I might have stumbled upon accidentally, I would have given for that one which I had wrested from her against all odds and at the peril of my existence…” “”

– Nikola Tesla: Imagining the Future –
“” Inspiration for the AC Motor
In 1882 Tesla was walking and admiring a sunset. Suddenly, he saw a vision of a motor that used a rotating magnetic field to produce what we now know as alternating current (AC).
Alternating electrical current changes directions 50 to 60 times per second. Tesla drew this motor in the ground while a friend watched and wondered at the strange diagram. According to the experts of the time, the motor Tesla had seen in his vision was impossible and would not work. Fortunately, Tesla did not forget his motor. “” https://www.groovylabinabox.com/nikola-tesla-imagining-the-future/

he didn’t reason through things to get to this point/this solution/this creation/this truth/this insight/this understanding (in this case) about how things work & work best…it came to him all at once. he was able to have this intuitive insight because he was so bright, sensitive, perseverant, believed in himself and had a knowledge base that was able/capable of manifesting this. – Ken –
I read that his genius became during periods of mania! I believe he was manic depressive…He would not sleep for days and weeks!!!( mania some RH negative blood types suffer from). As well as many geniuses, even some evil minds like The Unabomber wrote a memoir on the industrial revolution…his IQ was higher than Einstien. It has been precise…The memoir…Its a Shame that people of great intelligence are disregarded as ” crazy” imprisoned or die alone and broke like tesla. I believe and I say this humbly that many of great intelligence…with ideas and an opinion may be labeled alien, or something with evil connotations…like many RH negatives…they say we are the fallen angels, aliens, reptilian….Maybe the truth is we know too much…so we must be questioned by our origin alone or our existence…as most of us question and debate the status quo????
Just want to point out something in the gender population statistics. What seems glaringly obvious to me is the stats seem to reflect ongoing gender inequality in society…..
Fun fact about Tesla———His dad was a priest and his mom was a self taught mechanical engineer.
Maybe society can move past gender roles and we can have more Teslas!
unfortunately, once people get past bias based on anything but the work one does (the things one produces) there still may be major differences between men & women…physically, biologically, mentally and how they’re wired and so on still. some differences certainly benefit women, the others may not. not all these differences affect the output/work that one is paid for to earn a living at. there seem to be less differences between men & women (some are always in between) than when i was a child (once again: T-count…levels have been dropping lots on average during my life-time here in the USA…used to say it was related to the huge move toward computerization and the jobs/work required/type of person this required/promoted/favored…along w/ an environment – nature-wise & otherwise – that was becoming more estrogen-laden). whether this makes any sense or not, i can perhaps explain it better and in others ways also.
regarding Nikola Tesla…some people have parents that really value learning, and when this meets-up w/ a person w/ great potential…sometimes the results: the individual produced are amazing. this should occur more often obviously when biology & one’s environment are in-synch/helping each other toward such things. no thing is equal & differences usually make a difference. N.T. was an amazing individual, incredibly eccentric, very creative & productive, a visionary person and also very good.
as long as the work/output/results/ideas or whatever and all that one does is roughly equal or essentially the same, then each person – no matter their race, gender, creed, religion, nationality or whatever should be paid basically the same if that’s possible. no matter who it is though – things like physical strength/athletic ability, beauty, intelligence, creativity, age, dependability, consistency, integrity and so on do make a difference and do matter.
in the NBA now: LeBron James is one of the highest paid players, but he is also one of the game’s best & most valuable players. he is also dependable, consistent and in excellent shape for his age:: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=lebron+james+salary
differences usually make difference in output/production/one’s abilities/etc…hence/thus, the amount one might receive for one’s work (or whatever it is) should depend on all these factors & it usually does. since many work areas are very physically demanding, men often dominate these areas & do/should get paid more if their work is superior (this includes for example: the NBA vs the WNBA … these women would likely be paid more & more closely to the men in the NBA if their play generated more revenue, but currently it doesn’t. the difference is directly related to the dynamics of the game that is created by the superior athleticism of the men who play in the NBA vs the women who play in the WNBA).
i’ve been in the military, in a union at UPS, worked construction and have been in college/university – among many other things. the military & the union forced me to do others work often times before i was allowed/able to do my own. so i was carrying other people (men & women often). that’s not fair nor right, unless i accept i/choose to do it. in construction, since i was stronger than essentially all the women who could’ve done that work at my age – i was likely paid better…or the women just weren’t doing the physical work i was doing because they weren’t able to do it or to keep up w/ me. i also solved lots of problems – especially at the UPS where i worked, but not for pay. last time i went back to SUNYA: one of my tests (on which none of my answers were wrong) the prof/teacher found a way to give me 2 wrong answers (and i still got an A or the highest grade in the class) – even though he knew they weren’t wrong, but he said to me that because nearly all of the rest of the class (a computer coding class) had failed the test – he had to curve my test to bring up the grades of the others who had failed. does anyone see anything wrong here? i hope so. i just walked away from these situations – all of them eventually.
I’m jumping in without reading every post. I remember a comment that had a flavor of confidence few, this is not an accusation, rather a question. That many narcissists are attracted to me because I’m good…you stated never would not happen to me. So do you believe despite the fact I’m educated support myself paint draw play piano write music can understand micro biology, and all sciences…that because I had a son who becameweakened by powerful drugs to relieve stress , and was married to a narcissistic antisocial personality disorder husband…makes me weak? Or was it a game of chess for survival that took hyper focus incredible self control and intelligence beyond the average who can lounge around without the worry of an attack…the worst was the stalking and Cyber hacking, but now I read tech analytics like a Dr. Guess book…..men can carpartmentalize…???? Better than woman!!!but place us in a cage? A man or woman? I guarantee the red target on my opponents back….even though I’m a loving thoughtful caring emotional being!! Its an easy ploy…men are seduced …then we win. Just a thought
I believe Rh negative men have a very different attitude towards women than the general population does. For example: I can almost guarantee you that there isn’t a single Rh negative men on the planet who feels “threatened by strong women”.
i tend to agree w/ you on this Mike for Rh negs (there are difs in both men & women in general & overall), as long as the man isn’t biased toward men for largely “gay” related reasons or the fact that men tend to be thinking-biased much more often than women who are often feeling-biased/leaning/favoring/dominant. that thinking/feeling difference can be large and be can be a source of many problems unless each values the other enough to somehow works things out. a gaymale bias and/or problems w/ many females being dominant feelers overall or the females being/having dominant strong personalities themselves can sometimes cause problems. there will be exceptions, but the general trends or tendencies should really be what’s around the truth of the matter…and that’s basically what i think you been saying.
then again, i still haven’t known a lot of Rh (D) negative people in real-life. i’m rather certain there’s more for me to learn here.
I will try to explain it better. It’s based on feedback and observation over the years. Dynamics in Rh negative couples vs. when one is Rh positive. Very different.
Basically back in the days, I would ask questions randomly on the fan page. “Why are so many men threatened by strong women?”. I would ask on the Rh negative page and also another one that Facebook deleted and compare. The difference in replies was overwhelming. That was when I started out many years ago. Basically none of the Rh negative men seemed to even understand what it means to be intimated by a woman that is strong. There was more an “give me a strong woman anytime who has confident energy” attitude. Of course, I need to now consider that this might not be a universal phenomenon, but there were so many comments with details about how the men feel, all of which hit home. I think there are many men who want to keep the woman down at home to feel better about themselves which I find sickening and from what I understand, Rh negative men in general do as well. It’s about team work to me. So, when I hear about gender inequality, I look at it from 2 angles: dispositions based on interests more common in men or women vs. a general attitude within the general population of men that rather than partners elevating each other through team work, he needs to be in charge, even if she is far more able and talented than he is.
my grandfather on my father’s side who i believe was O negative, lefty-biased ambi, very quiet, had a very strong body, was quite smart & good said the husband and wife should try to pull together like a team of horses do to get things done. i say: each is obviously different…make the most of each other’s strengths and minimize the weaknesses. there’s an old but largely true song from 1945: ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE by Johnny Mercer…i chose Bing’s version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qk9o_ZeR7s … which sorta get’s at what i mean put simply.
I have seen a few huge turn-arounds in some Rh negative women’s lives. I used to get tons of messages on Facebook when I was active there and many suffered in relationships with non-negs. Basically, the dude put his energy into “keeping her in check” rather than both placing their energy on making it together in life. Her energy was wasted on trying to change. Two women especially I can think of. First they finally left, then they met someone who let them figure out what they want to do and support them and both just bloomed and changed completely, totally different energy. The energy of fear is one many are controlled by. Same goes for Rh negative men stuck in situations where a woman waits for him to make it happen for them rather than using her gd given gifts and talents to come up with ideas as a team. She was likely raised and “trained to be a good wife”. I don’t think Rh negative men need that. To be submitted to. I think it is for Rh negative men and women essential to just be and let be and then let our real abilities shine knowing the partner has our back.
All of this is me thinking out loud and sort of putting together the pieces that really stood out. I will upload a video trying to explain it better. I think terms like “gender inequality” need to disappear and instead subcategories elevated and highlighted. It is far too broad and doesn’t identify what is and isn’t an issue. What makes men happy? What makes women happy? That is of essence. The “war of the sexes” was more or less instigated to create division. I do not believe it is in our nature.
Lesley: Can you give me THE ONE example that stands out in that chart to you?
i think my grandfather, that i mentioned above, was an ISTP MBTI personality type. that doesn’t mean he didn’t have intuition, he did…he just seemed to be more of a sensor/sensing type based on my interactions w/ him and what he did w/ his life & his interests. he was very good at using and making things w/ his hands.
Your absolutely right. I’ve noticed that. Rh men are great!
There is way too much miscommunication in the world. I get many stories from Rh negatives, living and past. It is insane how many have suffered not knowing their identity, lost in the world of violent disorientation. If anything, I wish to clear up confusions for those who are ready to let go and rediscover life while blocking out the intrusions.
You and your website and videos have actually helped me a lot. Im not where I wanna be yet but hopefully off to a good start…You definitely help me and im sure there are many others. Thank you very much for everything you do.
How do you block out intrusions? My mind bombarded with a thousand thoughts ideas…I went for a walk…like a national park. I love nature! Huge holders…I found one alone away from people….I wished I could have slept there! All my worries, panic just left…I just could be present. I love the woods…the smell of moss, rustle of leaves…then I could feel a tightness in my chest….people walking on the trail. Strange I love people…some….few….now! That’s were I feel safe ironically….alone in the woods…Behind a boulder so I just ….free! People today scare me! There’s a change….In the woods the sounds fit, it feels right, is this what you mean?
Women need a sixth sense to protect there children. In nature the Female is the hunter. So its essential for life that woman are more intuitive than men..
