The latest claim brought to my attention was that 40% of Yemenite Jews are rh negative. No study has been provided to support this claim.
Here is one study:
9.4 % of the blood samples were Rh-negative, as compared with the findings of the previous
study of 13.5 % amongst the Ashkenasi community, 12-3 yo for the Sephardic and 13.1 % for the
Oriental community. Gurevitch, Brzezinski & Polishuk (1947) in a study of the Rh factor and
haemolytic disease of the newborn amongst Jerusalem Jews, examined forty-four Yemenite
Jews with only one (2.3%) Rh-negative finding.

Conclusion:
The claim lacks serious credibility, but as always, new studies are invited to be brought to my attention.

Do Rh negatives have a closer connection to God ?
This would be a good survey question.
I love it. I am just thinking if I can reword it to something more people can identify with. Many believe in a spirit, energy which runs the world.
I am here because I’m trying to find out if anybody knows the origin of the last name Beristain. It is spelled very similar to Berenstain. I am Basque. I’m trying to find out if the Basque names with the Stain ending came from Hebrew or vice versa. I need to find out for health reasons.
My email is conchiu.urriolabeitia@gmail.com.
Ashkenazi names such as Stain/Stein are fairly new and are German, not Hebrew. No connection there.
I have been wondering if my life is just a series of coincidences …I dont look for trouble , but it always happens .. I stumble on to things , I m not meant to ..Big Stuff …. I am Rh B neg.
