When you receive an email or message on a social media platform, do you often instantly get an exact feeling of what the person who wrote it felt while writing, his or her intentions and most of all, what this person felt/feels towards you?
Since the month I first went online, I started skipping emails and reading others based on it. I knew when something wasn’t for me and then, even when there was no recognition of sender, I knew I had to read something that wound up being important for me.
Back in the days, I would skip long letters. Real messages are short and to the point. Email changed things to where writings gotten closer to reality.
(How) have you experienced this?
Yes, I identify with this. I can generally feel what the person was feeling when they wrote their message. I get a snapshot of their state of mind, or energy, as if I were with them in the room as they wrote it and can see the facts through their point of view at the time, even if I don’t agree or personally see an entirely different point of view. I don’t think whatever was written has anything to do with their feelings about me, though.
I also realize how my own energy reflects differently within emails based on how long I wait to write them.
Oh that is a very good point. Agreed on that. I must remember to reflect a moment as I compose a message, check in with myself. Thanks, Mike.
Timing is huge, because energy travels. While we wait too long, some of the energy that is meant for us may have found a new host and what was perfect at one point can turn awkward.
