Here are some updates:
Percentages of patients dying vary greatly based on
age
previous health
location
3% mortality rate is given on average, while certain brackets near 0% and others 15.
Basic hygiene is a must. Touching your face can move germs. Money can carry the virus.
Don’t assume immunity, even though there is a chance we might be more resistant.
More to come.
Do not panic. Be still. The masses might trample you.
Thanks Matt
It’s dissipating in China, the are shutting down the hospitals- weird.
Sterile technique is a must.
However I think the virus is living longer on surfaces longer than thought. From what recently happened on the second quarantine on the Diamond cruise ship! What’s your opinion about that fiasco.
I am curious as to why it’s so prevalent in certain areas (excluding the nursing homes). And absent in others.
We have no reports of the virus here in Baja California Sur. There was one and it was discarded as fake news. Two Northern Baja which turned out to be rhinovirus. Don’t laugh but Mexicans eat a lot of chili peppers which contain a large amount of vitamin C-
I also observed what they were saying about smokers- Italians smoke a lot also and as we know the Chinese do also. I’m no longer practicing as a nurse so I’m now observing from an armchair so to speak- but my observations in the past have proven time and again to be correct and eventually backed up by science.
Keep us posted.
