COVID-19 deaths: 1 out of 45 Rh- and 1 out of 8 Rh+ patients (NYP/CUIMC)

UPDATE: Among the patients with Rh(D) positive blood groups, 1 in 8 died. Among the patients with Rh(D) negative blood groups, 1 in 45 died. This is a significant difference, but since there were only 45 COVID-19 cases of people with Rh(D) negative blood groups with one (A-) dying, more studies are needed to confirm these results.
