Does color blindness run in your Rh negative family?

This is one of the many questions I receive which cannot properly be answered at this time:

Is there a connection between being Rh negative and also be color blind or being a carrier of color blindness?

The mother is a carrier of the recessive hereditary disposition for Color blindness. The Y chromosome of the father cannot oppose this. The healthy allele on the X chromosome of the father can compensate for this in a daughter. She can see normally, but she becomes a conductor. The same pattern of inheritance applies to Haemophilia.

The best I can do at this time is bring the subject back up and wait for your feedback.

Does color blindness run in your family and why do some think there could be a connection between color blindness and being Rh negative?
