The History of Pandemics

This subject matter is of great interest to me for many reason. A big one: Who didn’t die and why? Having examined infections of viral origin, there were plenty of data indicating and sometimes proving resistance based on both, ABO and Rh factor. While in some cases ABO or Rh factor might be directly related to having resistance, there is also the possibility that data can show unusual frequencies based on individuals with certain blood types being more likely to carry other genes that can make them resistant or even immune.
