How do you know which food is right for you to eat?

This topic pops up again and again and of course it is all about the question whether or not there is a right diet for rhesus negative people.
My answer to that is that blood type definitely has something to do with it.
Your blood type has something to do with your personality traits.
It also relates to overall health.
In other words: Everything goes hand in hand, so if let’s say blood type A boys are more “tender-minded”, it would also not be too far fetched to think that taste in music could have been influenced by your blood type.
The one thing that I truly believe is that our body does not lie to us.
But I also know that a load of profit is being made by making us believe that this is not the case and that we need to follow someone else’s plan in order to truly stay or become fit.
Let’s take a quick look at a diet I have previously examined: The Paleo Diet.
What this diet, though it makes a lot of sense theoretically, doesn’t take into consideration whatsoever is that people had preferences even back then. Preferences in what types of foods they preferred to consume. And whether or not them and their community was more info hunting or gathering. And social behavior that could have possibly made the hunting experience a social event and competition for the men while other groups may have been more into relaxing and singing.

The Divje Babe Flute is a cave bear femur pierced by spaced holes that was found in 1995 at the Divje Babe archeological park located near Cerkno in northwestern Slovenia. It has been suggested that it was made by Neanderthals as a form of musical instrument, its hole spacing and alignment leading to its being labeled a “Neanderthal flute”. Slovenian archeologist Mitja Brodar, however, argues that it was made by Cro-Magnons as an element of Central European Aurignacian culture.

As we all go through phases where we think we need some guidance, it is often easy for advertisers to find their way through your minds and make you think their program or service is worth a shot. After all, your eating habits and lifestyle may have not been critically examined previously, so making you believe that the easily achieved improvement due to a little bit of added discipline was due to the diet you have enrolled in is not hard and while your health might increase, your inner sense of self probably won’t as much as if you had started losing weight by following 2 simple guidelines that do not offer you a book or a class or specific recipes:
1) Buy food that is fresh and natural
2) Eat from that selection of fresh and natural foods what your body tells you to consume
A special recipe can add taste, but is that really going to benefit you?
If you consume friend potatoes because of the spices added, you will still consume potatoes loading you up with unnecessary carbs and calories which you didn’t crave in the first place … as you wouldn’t crave potato chips without the artificial flavors tricking you into craving something that obviously isn’t and never was good for you.
Let’s say you crave something artificial:
The next time you are in the supermarket, look at the types of artificial flavors in it. If it is paprika flavored chips, then simply buy some paprika and prepare it with real potatoes. And if the paprika is all you really crave, leave out the potatoes. Forget that you have learned that every meal needs to include rice, pasta, potatoes or bread. If you hold any weight in the Paleo Diet:
Do you truly think your ancestors were waiting to consume their meat until the potatoes were ready and the salad has been prepared?
And btw.: Don’t even assume for a minute that potato chips are really potato chips either.
You are constantly being bamboozled so what is off is not your instinct in terms of what you should and shouldn’t consume … you cannot hear your inner voice until you turn off everything that is fake and faking you away from your natural genius.
And if your budget is not compatible with your choices, at least try to treat yourself to something that is natural.
I can guarantee you, you will feel better after every meal.
Just like I do not believe you truly feel good after drinking sodas.
Or wait … you probably might because your body again is being tricked away from having a natural reaction.
20 minutes: Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat. (There’s plenty of that at this particular moment)
40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness.
45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way.
60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.
60 Minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water.

So is the pattern coming clear?
Health is not just about food either but about you needing to sleep as you feel like it and wear clothing that is comfortable rather than hindering you.
Your life is full of rules set by others. Rather than following your passion and letting it drive your life, you likely are being guided to live as it pleases others. Your boss, the companies profiting from you buying their products, whatever you think your customers want to see in you etc. etc. etc. etc.
There is a reason why advice columns and now sites are so incredibly popular … people are losing themselves. And while back in the days of the Paleo diet people were just who they were, you have likely been led away from the true you and are starting to feel the discomfort now that you have time to examine everything including you.
So let me make this very clear:
I truly believe there is only ONE diet to follow:
YOUR diet!

Nobody else’s.
YOUR preference is yours and only yours and just like we all don’t think and feel the same, we shouldn’t all eat the same either … especially if we really do not want to.
I for example love Thai food, but …

… why all that rice?

When I was in Bulgaria, I went to an Asian food restaurant and for 5 USD you could get a huge plate with just meat and vegetables … no rice at all. I remember how good and nourished I felt. Never before had this been the case.
So when people tell you rice belongs into it …
WHY?

Usually cooking habits are passed on from mothers to daughters without them being questioned …
no matter which continent or country.
Daughters see their fathers eat it and later their husbands will consume their replica as it’s close to mommy’s cooking.
But the truth is that many of the cooking habits were created based on economical shortages.
“Stretching” food with filler such as bread enabled the poor farmer families to fill themselves up.
But what about you:
Are you able to afford better than some of your ancestors might have?

Bread has a social and emotional significance beyond its importance as nourishment. It plays essential roles in religious rituals and secular culture. Its prominence in daily life is reflected in language, where it appears in proverbs, colloquial expressions (“He stole the bread from my mouth”), in prayer (“Give us this day our daily bread”) and in the etymology of words, such as “companion” (from Latin com “with” + panis “bread”).

Life expectancy has definitely increased, but not as much as it should have. And there is still no cure for cancer. And people are still dying left and right mainly due to consumption of tobacco and the wrong foods.
Gluten proteins have low nutritional and biological value, and the grains that contain gluten are not essential in the human diet. So don’t wait for a new diet craze to come out … follow your instinct. It may take years for the world to catch up, but if you are not seeking approval from anyone but your body, you should be in good shape.
