Palomar College is a public community college in San Diego County, California.
A few links from their site have been circulated regarding Rh negative blood and people. There was some good information, but also far too many guesses. Mind you, this is just me putting things into perspective so the next time we discover something new, “but Palomar College says…” will hopefully be something I will be hearing less.
Here is yet another mistake:
CORRECT –> Europeans have the highest frequency of Rh negative people (40%), which puts them at the highest risk for this problem. About 13% of newborn Europeans are at risk, but we can now prevent the life threatening complications in most cases.

Of course, that is false. The d gene frequency is around that, but that would make Europeans around 16% Rh negative which is more likely.
Feel free to ask if anything you come across makes no sense. I’m sure that much of it will also be on others’ minds and some of it even wrong and in need of correction.
Well, I suggest you contact them and correct the mistake!
