The Bedouins of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt have been mentioned in Kara Rogers´ work as being 18-30% rh negative.

So who are the Bedouins genetically speaking?

In terms of the Y-DNA (make lineage), the J-M267 marker (haplogroup J1) is very high amongst Bedouin tribes.
Studies reveal frequencies above 50% and in some cases 100% in groups examined.
This specific marker is also high amongst the Cohanim Jews with a frequency of 40-50%.
