I love this quote. I heard this for the first time a few decades ago, in a filmed interview with Jung. This just resonated with me so profoundly. To this day, I often think of Jung making this distinction between belief and knowing.
Gnosis, distinct and apart from any organized religion or thought system, is a kind of resonance with what is. One knows something in its totality, taken in almost, or perhaps indeed, like Osmosis. It is not something simply learned or intellectual; it is encountered with all your senses, both physical and subtle, resonating with what is.
