The Nephilim (/ˈnɛfɪˌlɪm/; Hebrew: נְפִילִים Nəfīlīm) are mysterious beings or people in the Hebrew Bible who are large and strong; the word Nephilim is loosely translated as giants in some translations of the Hebrew Bible but left untranslated in others. Jewish explanations interpret them as fallen angels. The main reference to them is in Genesis, but the passage is ambiguous and the identity of the Nephilim is disputed.
According to the Book of Numbers 13:33, they later inhabited Canaan at the time of the Israelite conquest of Canaan.
The name “Canaan” appears throughout the Bible, where it corresponds to “the Levant”, in particular to the areas of the Southern Levant that provide the main settings of the narratives of the Bible: the Land of Israel, Philistia and Phoenicia, among others.
The Southern Levant is a geographical region encompassing the southern half of the Levant. It corresponds approximately to modern-day Israel, Palestine, and Jordan; some definitions also include southern Lebanon, southern Syria and/or the Sinai Peninsula. As a strictly geographical description, it is sometimes used by archaeologists and historians to avoid the religious and political connotations of other names for the area.
A similar or identical biblical Hebrew term, read as “Nephilim” by some scholars, or as the word “fallen” by others, appears in the Book of Ezekiel 32:27.

Thank you for sharing this post. I have recently being reading about Enoch and the Nephilims and it brings to light a lot of information that was deliberately left out of our Protestant Bible by “humans” of long ago. Just like in recent months we are hearing that much of what we learned in our history books that were interpreted and re-written by “humans” are not true either. And now we are hearing much about our governments systems all around the world that the many laws that were written by “humans” in the past were once held as the law and our human rights, and today we learn they are not being held as the truth anymore. I can only conclude that with so much “miss information” which started decades ago by “humans” has finally caught up with today’s more intelligent “humans” with computer technology, we can connect with “humans” all around the world and what we have learned is that our whole life existence has been based on so many lies from “humans” of long ago. I hope and pray that today’s intelligent “humans” will continue to expose the truth and maybe one day in the future we can become the “humans” that our loving creator had intended for us be all along. Humans of love and honesty.
Hi Debbie. Even though it feels deliberate that the book of Enoch was left out, I believe like you it’s very important. The Bible is clear on his character. He was a man of God that walked with God and God even took him. He walked among the stars w God. I believe this book was meant for today’s reader. Not for those before us. That imo is why it was left out. The fallen ones are something we need to know about now. However, I still believe we should be wise in what is good and simple in what is evil. Romans 16:19-20 keeping our minds focused on the good news and the battle that’s already won by Jesus death at the cross. For those here that are unbelievers they will see this differently and also probably witness much more of the activities to come from them.

I would add that there are other religious texts referring to this and although not specifically called “Nephilim”, there are other old stories that describe very similar sounding people. Some modern human customs, in some religions, are practiced today allegedly because of these people.
In other words some people believe in Nephilims because of various past stories and religious passages, possible similarities with other ancient people, and some people today heavily insinuate that they are their descendents.
It’s quite the conspiracy.

Who but God made ANYTHING?
All was made by God.
When we say “manmade” we are talking about man using something/things created by God in some new fashion or some new mixture. Man cannot create the raw materials for anything: all things are God-made in origins, man just uses God made things in ways that are new to man.
So, God made every blood cell, every gene, every blood type.
When there was rebellion, I highly doubt that rh factor had anything to do with the rebellious ones.
My understanding is that the fallen were fallen ANGELS. And that angels are spirit. Spirit does not have blood, so does not have a blood type. Does the wind have a blood type?
Read John 3:8. Blood is part of flesh, not part of spirit.
Angels can take on the FORM of humans (with God’s blessing) in order to bring messages to humans. The word angel means messenger.
Insofar as posession of fleshly humans (or even animals) by demons (evil spirits/possibly fallen former angels, the human would have to have willfully fallen into evil/willfully fallen outside of God’s presence THEMSELVES before they could be posessed. John 10:27-30. Those in God’s hand do not get plucked out, but it does not say they cannot jump off that mighty hand on purpose. Free will means the will to choose good or to choose evil.
Also sometimes even things carried in the air/on the wind such as virus/bacteria/fungi were once considered to be evil spirits/ evil carried in the air, before the understanding of minute particles.
If Nephilim are “the fallen” then they are fallen/rebellious angels. Thus they are not of the flesh. Thus they have no blood. If they were the children of the “Watchers” who somehow mated with women they were not created immortal. Although some believe that the Watchers were angels, it seems to me that they would have had to posess evil and willing MEN in order to have the flesh with which to mate in the first place, no? Can spiritual evil cause offspring to be giants? (No)

Some have claimed that Samson was possibly a Phillistine or part Phillistine. Some believe that the Phillistines were all of larger size generally than most MiddleEasterners of their time. Some think that perhaps the “Peleset” Sea Peoples were the Phillistines. Some think the Nephilim were the same stock: larger peoples that were warlike strangers.
To believe that Rh blood type has to do with Nephilim, means the Nephilim have to be human beings/mammals.
Not all Nephilim were only mentioned in the Bible. Demigods and nephilim are one in the same and appeared throughout historical texts all over the world. The number of ancient “gods” and fallen angels mentioned in the Book of Enoch are also around the same, which could indicate strongly the gods of ancient myth were actual fact and fallen angels obscured through myths and legends by the very same fallen angels who we call world leaders, royal families and global elites today.
If the Nephilim were demons and not made in God’s image, does this mean I also wasn’t if I’m a descendant?
