I agree this world is for the masses. Especially the health care system. What is the age longitivity of negatives compared to positives? And what doctors specialize in treating negatives? I am B- and a 60 year old female living in the Columbia SC area. Thanks.
Lisa I am b neg and 52. I have discussed my fear of many Doctors unaware of the dangers of 1. Receiving th positive blood by accident and also we more than likely will not find a donor if a doctor messed up and we go into organ failure. There are countries so low in rh negative blood types maybe it’s just not too priority to teach. I mentioned how many Doctors I’ve had to fire as a result of this lack of knowledge and not willing to listen. When I have said wait you need to know my blood type. They just are dismisdive. Now 30 yrs ago when I was pregnant Doctors knew! They knew more than the ones I’ve run into! We are suppose to be moving forward… Education is so important. If we are unable to speak for ourselves.. This must be re taught I think! At least where I live.
