Sonjia Kinsella has blood type O negative.

1) When did you find out that you are rh- and how did it impact your life?

When I was in my twenties, I became pregnant and was told that I had to have an anti-D injection. I didn’t want the injection until I knew what it was, so I did my homework. I remember thinking it was bizarre that my body could reject my own child and I started to do more research.

2) What do you think about the various theories regarding our origin?

Who knows? I’m quite open minded, but most of the theories out there are still hypothetical for now. Something is definitely off though and I hope the truth is revealed in my lifetime.

3) If you had a message for all rh negatives worldwide, what would it be?

Being different is cool, break the mold and never give up on your goals. Be the light!

4) How have you felt different in your life? Or have you?

I’ve never felt the need to be in a clique and I actually enjoy spending time alone, it’s peaceful. I like to make a difference where I can. I can profile people easily and I’ll know when someone has an ulterior motive. I’m very sensitive to the energy around me and It’s both a blessing and a curse.

5) Do you think the world will become better or worse for rh negatives to live in?

I’m not sure because I don’t know whether or not all rh-negs share the same traits and qualities. In general, it only takes one person to make a positive difference to humanity – Rosa Parks is a fine example.

6) Where in the world and when in your life have you been the happiest?

Egypt because I’m intrigued by the history. I would love to stay there for a long period of time.

7) What do you think rh negative people need in their lives to be happy?

Mindfulness, love and kindness
