The Neanderthal Diet

Eat like a Neanderthal

Neanderthal diets were low carb and high in nutrition. They also depended on their region and availability of foods.

You don’t need to buy a book or diet plan. You simply need to subscribe for more information.

Much of what the Neanderthals consumed may have been high on needed nutrients, but is no longer available, but some is. Some is easily available, other food items not so easily obtained.

The diet of the Portuguese Neanderthals included shark, dolphin and seal.

Shark fin soups may be one option, but why not use any of the other meat on the shark? Seems like a waste. As for dolphin meat, I don’t know. Well, doing a quick search on shark and dolphin meat show around 12-13% iron.

As for seal meat:

Seal meat is an excellent source of iron. In fact, 3 oz of harbor seal meat has 14mg of iron, which is 80% of the Daily Value.

Whether or not you wish to change your diet, my purpose is to gather information and show that a lot of issues Rh- have with autoimmune-related ailments likely didn’t exist among the Neanderthals whose diet provided enough iron and B12.

Domestic animal meat has far less nutrients. They are the degenerate version of what our ancestors consumed. Of course, if you are able to get your hands on wild game, you will see a huge increase in nutrition needed to help with whatever condition you may have.

Some domestic animals are closers to their wild ancestors than others:

Domestic and wild turkey are similar. Duck meat seems good, but of course, they are cute, so eating them some consider barbaric, so killing an ugly turkey is much more humane.

Fish is always fish and therefore… guess what: good for us.

None of my posts are here to change anyone’s mind on anything.

I am a source of information to those who like information.

Salmon seems to be a great option as well. Canned fish… no. Fresh and natural is a must.

Neanderthals were omnivores as us and also consumed plenty of vegetables and cooked.

Spinach is a great source of iron and so are beans.

The Neanderthal Diet is all about what is best among what is available to you and depends on how much effort you are willing to make and how much money you are able and willing to spend.

Everyone can do it.
