It has been years since I even mentioned Rhogam on this blog.
There are several reasons for that:
1) This blog is science-oriented and speculations are great to stay away from. Though I allow many in the commenting section, I do my best to keep everything based on what has been factually proven.
2) Having said such, many studies come and go, meaning: many are being retracted, deleted etc. (see below for one example).
3) I have been very disappointed with Rh negative entertainment. I am not disappointed that there are people fabricate stuff. That will always happen. What disappoints me is the mass amount of Rh negatives mindlessly believing whatever they are being presented.
4) The lack of support in terms of providing me with research led me to believe most Rh negatives are only limited interested in serious subjects. That means I prefer to discuss serious subjects with the few people I have in my life who share such interests.
Let’s get started:
Systematic Assessment of Research on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Mercury Reveals Conflicts of Interest and the Need for Transparency in Autism Research
is an article from 2017 which has been retracted since. The article can be found here:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5705731/
The abstract reads:
“Historically, entities with a vested interest in a product that critics have suggested is harmful have consistently used research to back their claims that the product is safe. Prominent examples are: tobacco, lead, bisphenol A, and atrazine. Research literature indicates that about 80–90% of studies with industry affiliation found no harm from the product, while only about 10–20% of studies without industry affiliation found no harm. In parallel to other historical debates, recent studies examining a possible relationship between mercury (Hg) exposure and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) show a similar dichotomy. Studies sponsored and supported by industry or entities with an apparent conflict of interest have most often shown no evidence of harm or no “consistent” evidence of harm, while studies without such affiliations report positive evidence of a Hg/autism association. The potentially causal relationship between Hg exposure and ASD differs from other toxic products since there is a broad coalition of entities for whom a conflict of interest arises. These include influential governmental public health entities, the pharmaceutical industry, and even the coal burning industry. This review includes a systematic literature search of original studies on the potential relationship between Hg and ASD from 1999 to August 2015, finding that of the studies with public health and/or industry affiliation, 86% reported no relationship between Hg and ASD. However, among studies without public health and/or industry affiliation, only 21% find no relationship between Hg and ASD. The discrepancy in these results suggests a bias indicative of a conflict of interest.”
As previously hinted, I report and repost what I find interesting. It doesn’t necessarily mean I agree with it, but for the purpose of fact-finding, I put things out there also in hope that YOU, the reader, are going to do some of the work and point out flaws, contradicting studies etc.
So here is the link to the article explaining the retraction:
RETRACTED ARTICLE: Systematic Assessment of Research on Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mercury Reveals Conflicts of Interest and the Need for Transparency in Autism Research
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5705728/
It reads:
“Based on an assessment by the Editors, the Conflict of Interest statement of this article is inadequate because it fails to disclose conflicts of interest in addition to the declaration that “the authors have been involved in vaccine/biologic litigation.” In particular, Janet Kern is a board member of CONEM (Council for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine) and Geir Bjorklund is that organization’s founder and President. Mark Geier and David Geier do work under the auspices of the non-profit Institute for Chronic Illnesses, Inc. Lisa Sykes, Mark Geier and David Geier are officers of the Coalition for Mercury-free Drugs (CoMeD, Inc). Richard Deth is on the scientific advisory board of the National Autism Association. Brian Hooker is on the board of Focus for Health. James Love has been involved in amalgam litigation. Boyd Haley is involved in the development of a mercury-chelating agent. Some of the authors have a personal as well as a professional interest in autism. In addition, some authors are or have been involved in litigation related to vaccines and autism. Furthermore, the article itself contains a number of errors, and mistakes of various types that raise concerns about the validity of the conclusion. As a result, this article is being retracted by the editors without the agreement of the authors. The online version of this article contains the full text of the retracted article as electronic supplementary material.”
Mark Geier, according to Google is:
“Mark R. Geier is an American former physician and controversial professional witness who testified in more than 90 cases regarding allegations of injury or illness caused by vaccines.”
You can also find him on Wikipedia:

Here is an example of the above hinted:
RhoGAM Autism Suit Dismissed after Judge Bars Testimony of Dr. Mark Geier
https://quackwatch.org/cases/civil/rhogam/memo/
“A federal court judge has dismissed a lawsuit by a couple who claimed that RhoGAM shots the mother received during pregnancy and shortly after delivery had caused their child to become autistic. (RhoGAM is used to prevent destruction of the newborn’s red blood cells due to an Rh-factor incompatibility between mother and child.) The couple charged that the mercury preservative (thimerosal) in the shots was responsible. There is no scientific evidence that mercury is a causative factor, but the parents hoped to establish a connection through testimony by Mark R. Gieier, M.D., Ph.D., who has testified in about 100 cases of alleged vaccine injury that that thimerosal in vaccines caused autism. However, the judge concluded:
When subjected to extensive cross-examination, Geier could not point to a single study that conclusively determined that any amount of mercury could cause the specific neurological disorder of autism.
Geier’s conclusion that the peer-reviewed literature he has relied upon supports his theory that autism can be caused by thimerosal is flatly contradicted by all of the epidemiological studies available at this time.
Geier’s testimony was excluded or accorded little or no weight in more than ten of the vaccine cases. In one case, the special master who presided over the case referred to him as “intellectually dishonest.” In another case, the special master referred to him as “a professional witness in areas for which he has no training, expertise, and experience.”
The judge then ruled (below) that since the parents could not establish causation, the RhoGAM case could not proceed.”
That was back in 2006.
Many have asked me about Rhogam, but few return to share what they find on their own.
I hope that this will change.
If you have question, use the time you save not reading articles about aliens and share some data.
The title for this post comes from:
https://www.impactlaw.com/dangerous-drugs/vaccines/rhogam
“RhoGAM® is a medication used to counter the effects of Rh-incompatibility between mother and fetus. Prior to April of 2001, RhoGAM® contained thimerosal, a preservative composed, in part, of ethylmercury. Although no conclusive links have been found, some experts speculate that ethylmercury exposure may be a cause of certain health conditions such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and sensory integration disorder (SID), leading many patients to file claims in the RhoGAM® lawsuit. The FDA has therefore required that RhoGAM® be produced without thimerosal.”
What have you found on your own?
Please be factual.
Feel free to share some speculation, but also please try to back up your claims.
I know it has become acceptable in other places to spend hours speculating about Rh negative blood, but this is not the place.
Thank you in advance for the information that you are about to provide.

This is not a scientific comment however for the sake of those having had the Rhogam prior to 2001 I had two vaccinations one in 1966 made with the American product and another in 1967 made with a similar product made I believe in the U.K. I also participated in a study being done on the RH factor and the effects of the vaccines by Edinburgh University. I have never suffered from autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and sensory integration disorder (SID), or any other similar condition. I am not stating it did not affect some people, I am saying that not everyone who got the vaccines prior to 2001 will suffer neurological disorders of some kind. Also the vaccines produced by other countries may not contain ethylmercury. Just a thought.
Interesting. I’m a retired nurse. And RH negative. This is first time I have heard of Rhogam causing any kind of adverse effects.
I worked for several years in a clinic. We did child welfare exams. And later i worked with autistic children. For whatever it is worth. It was not until recently that I’ve heard about this mercury in the vaccine baloney. I was also a immunization nurse. I never witnessed any adverse reactions. And do not recall a single insidence of autism being cause by Rhogam.
I vaccinated hundreds and hundreds of children. I think it’s a new fad. Let’s blame it on the anti vaccine bandwagon. We lived near the Handford Nuclear power plant. Woo woo.It could be that.. but then what about those who don’t live near Handford. They need to come up with more studies. My daughter by the way was 100% fine after birth, she lived to be 5. She died in a car accident. Not from Rohgam/mercury poison.
i am o neg; received rhogam shots and have 3 healthy children born in 1991, 1992 and 1994. no issues with autism
Thank you for all this information. My main objective in researching my RH negative comes from when I nearly bled to death twice, within 2 months and the first time when I needed massive blood transfusions I found out I was RH negative when I thought all my life (I was 75 at the time) I was RH positive. Finding I was RH negative answered a lot of question I had about physical and mental characteristics like my L6, hazel eyes and pretty much most things attributed to RH negative. I’ve mostly ignored the alien and reptilian stuff. Now, what bothers me is I’m signed up for 23andme .com DNA analysis and they tell me they aren’t interested in tracing or categorizing RH negative people. Since RH negative is a part of our DNA I find it incredulous DNA companies can’t or won’t give us any information regarding that part of our DNA or where our ancestors came from which is why I research RH negative. As far as vaccines, I have always gotten vaccinated. A HUGE part of that comes from my mother’s mother (my grandmother) dying from the Spanish flu in 1928 (my mother was 2), 10 years after the Spanish flu pandemic. If vaccines had been available back then I might have known my grandmother. I’ve never had an adverse reaction to any vaccination and I can’t think of a single one that I haven’t gotten because I do not want to catch something and pass it on to another person, child or baby and see that person, child or baby die because I didn’t get the vaccine. I do believe getting vaccinated is a CHOICE, but I want people to think long and hard the possible consequences of that choice. A lot of the above information I’ve not heard of in my lifetime. Its a lot to digest and will take considerable research on my part. Again, thank you to the people replying.
I am a 0 Negative mother and I had 4 sons. I had to take the Rhogam shots after 3 of my sons who were blood typed after they were born and they were 0 Positive. I had no complications with the Rhogam shots. My 4th son was blood typed after he was born and he was 0 Negative, I did not have to take the Rhogam shot after his birth. All 4 of my sons were very healthy and all were gifted children in school with higher intelligence. They didn’t exhibit any complications from the Rhogam shots that were given to me before and after my pregnancies. Many of our family consisting of immediate family members, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents have Negative blood. I have done my own research in the past 14 years with local family cousins and DNA cousins on numerous DNA forums and many of them have Negative blood too and as far as I know only one person is ADHD and his mom (not related to us) has schizophrenia and as this boy has gotten older he is exhibiting more symptoms like his mom.
My thoughts would be did both the parents of these children have genetic testing done to see if they possibly carried some genes that could have contributed to their children’s problems. And if they carried a defective gene along with the Rhogam shots then maybe their offspring could have inherited some health issues. If both the parents or just one of the parents carried a “faulty” gene their offspring could inherit a problem regardless of anyone taking a Rhogam shot or not. Only with genetic testing of both of the parents could that mystery be unraveled.
I don’t know too much About the Rhogram shot but I have read stuff that says it can make us sick but I don’t think it causes ASD, ADHD, and sensory issues. I have all of those things and my mom did not get the shit since she has a positive blood type. I got the Rhogram shot with both of my daughters and the oldest was diagnosed with ADHD but doesn’t struggle with it anymore and my youngest is showing symptoms of ADHD. I have been thinking that there is some kind of correlation between the negative and autism for awhile now. If you read the “symptoms” of having a negative blood type, the are very similar to ASD, ADHD and sensory issues like bigger heads, sensitive to light, don’t feel like they belong, truth seekers, etc. If some kind of genetic disease or health problem runs in your family, even if you don’t have the condition, you will show mild symptoms if you carry that gene mutation.
I agree that it’s more genetics. I have been diagnosed with ADHD as well as my 9 year old son. They are also saying taking Tylenol during pregnancy has shown autism risk – how many pregnant woman have taken Tylenol during pregnancy? That’s pretty much all we could take!
I am not aware of any issues due to the shot. Even if there were some minor issues (not saying there are), the risks are far less than the benefit of taking the shot. That’s been proven. This is not always the case with injections or vaccines (dare I say it, yes I have and I will continue to, the COVID shot is the elephant in the room), but with this one, it most certainly is. And if there was a health risk to me but benefit to my child, I would again, 100 times over, take it.
Read the book Thimersol by RFKjr. There’s 20 pages of footnotes and references pointing to lots of data and studies. Myself and my cousin are both Rh-, both had boys, and both had the same Rhogam with the Thimersol. Both our 2nd borns, males, had all kinds of issues. Her son got put on Ritalin and mine is still suffering with weird shit at 21. Plus ALL THREE of us have anemia problems of elevated bilirubin and liver enzymes. I keep getting gaslit by Drs that it’s Gilberts Syndrome. Strange though when ask them to test me for it there’s really no diagnostic test to prove it one way or the other. Our symptoms is more aligned with Hemolytic Anemia. I’ve had a thyroidectomy from cancer and hysterectomy all within the last 6 years and I was at athletic level performance before I had the Rhogam. I noticed a distinct change about a year after giving birth to my first born. I even took a picture of myself to document the droop on my face. I took a photos of my 2nd born for documentation. All kinds of shit I’ve had to deal with most of all my son who’s lived with the consequences of these “vaccines”. It needs to be said that only referring to your limited exposure to your town and a daughter who only lived to 5 is not enough data to write off the entire population of Rh negative women and their offspring who have suffered and continue to as a result of the coercion and pharmaceutical tyranny they employ by white coats to pressure and frighten women without a true informed consent and unbenounced to the father.
I had a Rhogam shot in 1982. I was full term, in labor 3 days, baby was still born.
Lawsuit, they won, I lost.
Can’t go up against the big boy pharma companies when you’re a nobody in the country with zero money and a hick attorney.
I worked for a Professor of Pharmacology for 5 years. I am convinced that Hippocrates was right on many points. “Forsake your drugs for food” is one of them, and shows a path away from pharmaceutical tyranny. True pharmacology is based upon the science of nature, and maintaining and restoring the healthy balance of the human body.
There is little doubt that Rhogam has been effective and for the significant majority safe. That is supported by numerous studies. The number of miscarriages was certainly very high prior to its invention and use. An open question in my mind is whether the mother’s body “learns” from its bad experience with mixing blood types and inhibits further pregnancies. If true, that would require a re-interpretation of the demographic studies on Rh Neg distributions.
