This month, a revised version of our last study has been published by Plos One.
Rhesus-positive and Rhesus-negative persons differ in the presence-absence of highly immunogenic RhD protein on the erythrocyte membrane. The biological function of the RhD molecule is unknown. Its structure suggests that the molecular complex with RhD protein transports NH3 or CO2 molecules across the erythrocyte cell membrane. Some data indicate that RhD positive and RhD negative subjects differ in their tolerance to certain biological factors, including, Toxoplasma infection, aging and fatique. Present cross sectional study performed on 3,130 subjects) showed that Rhesus negative subjects differed in many indices of their health status, including incidences of many disorders. Rhesus negative subjects reported to have more frequent allergic, digestive, heart, hematological, immunity, mental health, and neurological problems. On the population level, a Rhesus-negativity-associated burden could be compensated for, for example, by the heterozygote advantage, but for Rhesus negative subjects this burden represents a serious problem.

What are the hormone level differences between Rh negative and Rh positive men and women? Do Rh negative women produce more natural androgens or estrogen than Rh positive women? How about Rh negative men vs. Rh positive men? Are there any hormone level differences?
Cory, I, too, would LOVE to know the answer to this question.
Cory, I, too, would love to know the answer to your question.
Hi Tami, thanks for your reply 🙂 I’d like to see more studies done on this topic. If enough research is done to prove a significant difference in hormone levels between Rh positive and Rh negative people, then the next step would be to study the organs that secrete those hormones, like the adrenals and pituitary gland, to see if one Rh person has a larger pituitary gland or adrenals than the other. I’m not meaning to sound prejudice, but I have a strong feeling that mixing the two Rh factors (in procreation) is not a good idea and could lead to inborn hormonal health issues or auto immune conditions in children. Does anyone reading this know of anyone or have these health related conditions themselves, and come from a mixed Rh family? My parents told me I had a vanishing twin. I grew up having gender dysphoria and late onset puberty that was forced with artificial hormones. I’m looking for answers and closure. If anyone here has any info to relate that can help, please respond. I also want to know if being a redhead is a common Rh negative trait. I’m a natural redhead and Rh positive, but have several Rh negative traits. I suspect it’s possible I’m a recessive carrier of the Rh negative gene. Still trying to convince my Dad to find out his blood type. His Mom was a natural redhead and red hair runs on his side of the family.
Hi Cory. I am B RH-negative, also looking for the same answers.
Searching the web, I was able to find only one website with very generic answers. It is hard to believe that nova days there is no more detailed information on the subject. I do not believe that eating pork meat has anything to do with blood types.
On subject of freckles, I have them too. What is more weird, the hair on the top of my head is blond naturally. In the Summer it looks like as if I had it bleached. Once I lift up my long hair, the hair on the lover part of my head for some odd reason has a carrot orange colour. To find a hair dye to get one consistent colour is almost impossible.
My mother comes from mixed RH parents, my grandma is RH negative and grandpa was RH positive a she carries RH negative gene, although she is RH positive. And she has autoimune disease, but I dont know if it comes from being mixed. Also I am RH negative, because my dad was RH – and I have reddish and golden tint in my hair and I read that it is common to be redhead or have som red tinti in yout hair if you are RH -.I have a classmate who is redhead and she is B- and my other two friends are also Rh negative and they have brown hair with red tint in the sun. I guess its about genetics mixture, lot of Jews are also RH – but they dont usually have red hair though. Also what RH negative traits do you have? I noticed that RH negative people naturally attract me and they are usually kind of weird people. I just have found out that my boyfriend´s mother is RH negative, so he carries RH negative gene and when I met him I was really drawn to him. So I am glad that there is a possibility of having RH negative baby. The more I read about this topic, the more interesting it gets and now when I see people sometimes I am guessing in my mind if they can be RH negative especially if they have some of the traits 😀
Neither of my parents are Rh negative. I have no idea which side of the family the gene comes from. Actually, I can’t even find a distant cousin who is Rh negative. This once nearly had me convinced that I was adopted! I am an only child so there’s no siblings with blood types for comparison and being an only child also made me wonder about whether or not I was adopted as my mother was never able to get pregnant again after having me. She definitely had some female problems that would have made getting pregnant difficult, though. Also, I have features that came from both parents. I’m a brunette but my hair definitely has a reddish tint in the sun. I also have large eyes that are a very unique color of blue. When I was a kid, I used to get embarrassed and felt a bit inferior because so many people made comments about my eyes. I’m now 56 years old and have realized for some time that now that my eyes are one of my best features. For instance, I attended an event last night and two different photographers (amateurs, I suppose) approached me over the course of the evening to ask if they could take some shots of my eyes. I asked the 2nd lady if she knew the 1st lady who took pics of my eyes and she didn’t. I found getting to requests from two totally different women who didn’t even know each other a bit weird. I’ve only started reading about Rh negative blood types over the last year or so. I had no idea what it meant to be Rh- or in my case O- other than I had to have injections when I had my son 36 years ago and that I started to view the employees at my local Medic blood bank as vampires after the first time I donated blood. I’m also negative for some type of virus…CMV…I think that’s what the virus is called. Because of this and my blood type, Medic placed me in their preemie pool. They called me so often that I feared I was going to become anemic and get fired from my job! How does one say they can’t come when called for an emergency donation for a premature baby?! I’ve also started to feel that I can recognize other Rh negatives. I’ve gone as far as to ask a couple of people that I know and sure enough, they are Rh-, too. In my opinion, we all seem to have a uniqueness about us. Not just in our appearance but I’ve noticed that the people I know who are Rh- negative are somewhat “free spirited”. I’m not sure if that’s among the list of common traits or might simply be a coincidence but we certainly aren’t followers and seem to just do our own thing. We all have families and spouses but also seem to appreciate our alone time more than most people. We are also much more productive when we are alone. Not sure if anyone else can relate to these things are not.
Hi Tami. I have most of your trades, and can most definitely relate to them. There are times however when our speciality treads are wearing me down.
Hi,
My name is Greg and I am AB Rh-, Father B Rh+ Mother A Rh-
I agree with you 100% that I am much more productive when I work alone…
I was light blond when I was at school… later slowly getting dark blond.
I am alergic to milk, bread and some fish, also chicken… but I never cared about it.
Best greetings to you
Take care
Greg
Hi Cory,
I have RH- blood (B-), and grew up with reddish hair and hazel eyes. I’ve never had the flu nor have I ever had the flu shot; just something my inner soul just knew I didn’t need. I misscarried my first child in my forth month and even at that time I wasn’t aware of the depth this meant.
Recently I’ve been told my iron is low; hence depression episodes. But after I almost hit bottom of running out of iron, I was also told I am UNABLE TO STORE IT; (we aren’t talking about the usual problems of absorbing it), but nit storing it. So if you’re depressed, pls have ur Ferritin checked. It’s very quick and easy. Your body many require a ‘gentle iron’ (is what it’s called 24mg), and can but doubled daily. Do not let ur iron run out or you will really know depression like never before and I wouldn’t want to see that happen. We do hour have the BEST blood for donating platlettes. There are many other attributes I’ve recently noticed from other blogs that do separate us from the Postive carriers. Such as we all dislike heat, even with cold feet we sweat easily; dislike bright lights; we have this indepth amount of empathy and cry easily ; we love nature & animals; dislike listening to the news; no violent movies; we love topics of teaching and/or healing and we never get sick. But yes, red hair freckles are one of the traits.
Wish you well Cory. God bless you!
Shanon
Oh and one other thing. I came from a family of 7 children. The first 3 have matching RH positive blood, along with the last 3 having positive and matching blood. I am the middle child and the only one with B-. Not anyone of my parents nor their siblings have this blood type. We can’t figure out where it came from and I do look like my family is many ways but have hazel eyes. I also have just one knuckle on each pinkie finger and both baby toes are much smaller than the rest. Did research and found this to be common with ‘Netherlands’? (can’t remember their names) that settled in the UK.
Your both parents are RH +, but both of then is “mixed” so they carry the RH negative gene (RH+-), and thats how you got your – factor. For better understanding, here is a picture http://events-manager.ru/images/sovmestimost-grupp-krovi-rezus.jpg
Hi Shannon, thank you for your support 🙂 You’re lucky to have other siblings. I’m an only child, and wish my twin would’ve lived. Well, I don’t suffer from low iron or chronic depression, only mild anxiety from gender dysphoria. My Mom’s blood type is A +, and she’s had a few blood transfusions for low iron, suffers from mental illness and depression.
I seldom get sick and recover quickly when I do. Besides having natural red hair and freckles, my eye color is blue-green to hazel like both my parents (some say my eyes are blue-green, others say hazel). I can’t stand bright light and wear sun glasses on sunny days. I’m also very empathetic, love animals and nature, sweat easily, hate violent movies, and have a healing profession. Even with these Rh – traits, my blood type is O+. I’ve asked my Dad many times to find out his blood type but he keeps putting it off like it’s not important to him. Since red hair is common on his side of the family I suspect he’s either Rh- or a recessive carrier. It’s possible my Mom is a recessive carrier of the Rh- gene. Sure wish I knew. I’ll post updates when I can find out my Dad’s blood type.
During my first pregnancy I became extremely anemic, in fact, during puberty is when anemia hit me hard. Anyway, the doctor (ObGyn) insisted on me taking iron pills which didn’t feel right. So I didn’t take them. The anemia got worse so the doctor gave me a shot. I ended up in the hospital with a fever of 105* F and having convulsions. I was hooked to a cooling blanket and after a week they released me; but, not before giving me another shot (the doctor said it was impossible that I couldn’t handle the iron, it must be something else.) In less than 24 hours I was back in the hospital with the same reaction. The doctor finally agreed no more iron and I consulted a midwife who recommended Floradix (a blend of herbs high in iron). This worked well for me. Now I take trace minerals from a company called Dynamite and control it well. For me everything must be WHOLE, no processed foods or USP supplements. Thank you for sharing your story. I now know I am not alone in my rare iron absorption anemia. ::big smile::

Hi Michele
I have a daughter by your same name …
We are all 0 negative.
My parents, my husband, my children ..all 0 negative.
She had the same experience with Iron that you shared!
There must be a reason .
Oh wow Cory, I am so sorry! I can feel your anqish and frustration but truthfully, it sounds like you and your twin are have shared each other’s traits and if you are following your heart, and this is how your feel, then this is who you are! I’ve always believe that if we can keep open minds without being attached to nothing else, things will make more sense and come together much easier than ever before.
You BE YOU! And with that said, you may be also parts of your twin without you realsing it. Just keep it open and let things flow as they may.
About your mom. When you get time, check into these few things that made a huge difference in my life.
D-Ripose; MSM and DMSO (DMSO may help your mom but you need to read Dr Jadobs write up about it first.) and it’s very cheap to get. It’s only downfall is if you have anything on your hands or the skin where it’s being applied, it will seep into your skin and take whatever chemcicals or detergents/bleach along with it. Which is why it’s not on the grocery shelf. Cattle feed stores and amazon carry it. It’s had great success for mental and muscularskeletal disorders; not to mention about 3000 another things. Good luck Cory and just remember; your twin is with you 100% of the time; you just need to relax and accept it as it is; both energies are meant to remain together! Talk to ur twin; u may be surprised to see the beauty that comes from this gift! It’s a good thing! God Bless ! Shanon
Thank you Sharon 🙂 God bless you! I’ve come a long way down the path of self acceptance. My parents, well esp. my Dad treated my Mom’s vanishing twin pregnancy like no big deal. First there were two heartbeats in the womb, then later on just one. That’s how they use to explain it to me. My Dad’s attitude is really shocking. I brought up the subject to him a few months ago, asking if he remembered Mom’s doctor saying I was going to be twins. He said he only wanted one baby and when the Doctor said my Mom was having twins, he kept hoping one baby would eat the other because they couldn’t afford the cost of twins. During my childhood he always told how happy he was that I wasn’t twins, but when he finally admitted wanting one twin to eat the other I was in shock. Now it makes sense why my Dad and I have never been super close. We get along okay, except he can’t accept my transgender status. Like no big deal one twin ate the other that’s all, there were two heartbeats now there’s just you. Now suck it up and act like a normal lady. I’m sure you’re right.. I’ve always known my twin and I share parts. It feels like she swallowed me and I live in her body. That’s the best way to describe how I feel, and I’ve learned how to cope with and accept my situation. Thank you for the reference on D-Ripose, MSM and DMSO for my Mom. I’ll check those out. She’s on iron supplements now and I’m glad her body is able to store iron.
Cory, whenever you have a moment, try writing down all the wonderful things you would tell someone if you had to describe your own attributes. Write every Beautiful quality you see in yourself (nobody else will see it, just you). After you do that, every time you look in the mirror, see all those things that make you who you are. Memorize it to where that’s what you see when u see your reflection; it takes practice but it works. Because when you finally accept your beautiful and magnificent self as God made your heart, where the Soul truly lives (don’t care about the outside) , then you will see everything and everyone around you differently.
It took me awhile to understand this myself but God lives in each of us which already makes us Perfect. How others say or feel towards you is only a reflection of their own hurts; has nothing to do with you.
There’s no doubt that you are being guided by a beautiful Spirit and the best way to honor that Guardian is to be the person you are wanting to be; male or female.
It’s only when we truly love ourselves that create this beautiful Ora of love for others! Forgive you First! God already loves you UNCONDITIONALLY; without you even having to lift a finger! Live Life and enjoy all its gifts; there’s no price you have to pay.
Be Happy and live this life for both of you!
Life really is all about loving yourself and spreading that ‘Cory Love around’! Bless you and so glad you are apart of this life!
Hi Shannon
I’ve had DMSO intravenously every year for 23 years. Also have some made for oral use. Topical doesn’t work as well .
hey Cory l have o positive is protected from HIV or not?
I’m coming late to the comments, having just seen this several months after it was posted. Cory, Tami, and Shanon’s comments led me to thinking that I should add what little I have to the conversation. My late husband was tall with natural red hair, pale skin with freckles, and blue-green eyes. His blood type was O+. I am short with hazel eyes and dark hair that has red highlights, pale skin when younger and lots of freckles. My blood type is B+. I have grandmothers with red hair, I don’t know their blood types and they are long since deceased. Both my husband and I qualified to join Mensa, although only I actually joined. We both had/have strong intuition and were fairly telepathic with each other. I come from a family that was able to heal “by laying on of hands” and I’ve had that ability myself. I’ve struggled with depression. At one point, we tested for blood type on all of our children, as well as my husband and myself, because of the books on that topic. Our two younger children have B+ blood like I do, but our oldest son has O- blood type. We do know that he is both of our offspring, because we had DNA testing done to confirm that. The only way he could be O- is if both my husband and myself have O- as our recessive on our blood type. So many of the traits that are associated with Rh- blood types apply to me, even though outwardly I’m B+, and the same with my late husband. It seems every time I read something about Rh- blood type characteristics, every little detail, I find myself nodding in recognition of things that I had no idea were related. It’s clear that, even though the Rh- trait is hidden/recessive, it is still having a major effect on our lives, as if it were still dominant – like the power behind the throne, so to say. If for any reason you wanted to connect with me, you can reach me on FaceBook by looking up my name. ~Bernice Autumn Drake
wondering the chances of cancer for a- blood.. myself…i rarely get sick..except for tonsil issues and backs pine issues.. would love to have my blood studied!
