You cannot explain intuition and you don’t need to either

You can’t to those who lack it.

You don’t have to to those who have it.

Intuition isn’t really something you can turn off when you are not medicated and even then it will kick in here and there in some distorted way.

Empathy same thing.

This is what I came across today:

They practice empathic accuracy

I’d probably lose you if I said that highly intuitive people read minds, so I’ll use the scientific term: empathic accuracy. It’s not magic; it’s an intuitive awareness of what other people are thinking and feeling, using cues such as body language and tone of voice. It’s an extremely powerful form of empathy that helps foster deep connections with other people.

In statement analysis, using “if I said” expresses the desire to say it.

I have a tough time with vague statements, so I will take the liberty to state what I think the author may have wanted to say while correcting what I believe he got wrong:

Highly intuitive people can read minds

Highly intuitive people read minds. Someone came up with a term for it: empathic accuracy. It’s not magic; it’s an intuitive awareness of what other people are thinking and feeling, using cues such as body language and tone of voice. Actually, there is much more to it, but I leave it at that. Empathy is a byproduct of intuition. It’s not an extremely powerful form of empathy that helps foster deep connections with other people. It is a byproduct of intuition that IS connection. Real connection.
